Halau Lima Nani of Japan will perform at 10:30 a.m. Friday, April 25, at the hula platform located near the Volcano Art Center Gallery in Hawaii Volcanoes National Park. The performance will take place rain or shine and all are encouraged to bring a sitting matt and sun/rain gear.

Artist Dietrich Varez will be on hand 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Thursday to sign copies of his books and prints on the lanai of the gallery.

Doodie Downs will demonstrate design stamping using native plants to make one-of-a-kind stationery from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Friday, April 25, at the VAC Gallery.

In conjunction with her collaborative exhibit with Pam Barton, “Kapa Rythms,” Caren Loebel-Fried will demonstrate her print making techniques and sign her books from 9 a.m.-noon Saturday, April 26, on the gallery lanai.

The exhibit “Kapa Rythms” runs through May 18 at the gallery.

All events are free; however, park entrance fees could apply.
